Edmonton Film & Music Prizes 2017

The Alberta Media Production Industries Association (AMPIA) and Alberta Music, in collaboration with the Edmonton Arts Council, are pleased to announce the 2017 Edmonton Film Prize & Edmonton Music Prize. The call for entries are now open!
The Edmonton Film Prize launched in 2012 offering an annual cash prize. This year will be one $10,000 prize plus two $1,000 runner up prizes to celebrate excellence in Edmonton’s screen-based community. The Edmonton Film Prize was created by the Edmonton Arts Council and is administered by AMPIA.

Launched in 2013, the Edmonton Music Prize awards three cash prizes, one $10,000 and two $1,000 runner up prizes. 2016 winners include Maria Dunn, Scenic Route to Alaska and Moshin Zaman.
“It is a pleasure to partner with the Edmonton Arts Council and AMPIA to acknowledge the outstanding talent in music and film that Edmonton has to offer,” says Carly Klassen, Executive Director of Alberta Music.
