Seeka Sings

BIO/DESCRIPTION

Seeka Sings is an interactive children’s musical act by Jamaican-Canadian artist and 3x Western Canadian Music Awards nominee Jessica “Seeka” Holtby. Based in Edmonton, Canada, Seeka Sings promotes language and motor development, social-emotional learning, inclusion, and anti-racism through a blend of jazz, folk, pop, hip-hop, and Afro-Caribbean sounds, in English and French.
 
Seeka has graced stages at Vancouver International Children’s Festival, Festival du Bois, International Children’s Festival of the Arts, Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan, and more. Her recent works include a solo album, I Belong, and a collaboration album with Juno-nominated artist Will’s Jams, Will and Seeka: Friends with Everyone.
