BIO/DESCRIPTION

Olga Zaitseva-Herz is an artist, composer, scholar, and educator with a Ph.D. in Music from the University of Alberta. With a background that spans music performance, sound design, ethnomusicology, musicology and vocal pedagogy, she is passionate about exploring the intersections of Ukrainian-Canadian music, culture, and community. Her work is dedicated to enhancing the sensory and contextual understanding of music as a living practice.
