BIO/DESCRIPTION

Miles Canyon is a songwriter and country artist new to Alberta from Saskatchewan. Throughout Miles Canyon’s career he has shared the stage with an abundance of talented artists, performed countless shows across the country and has hundreds of songwriting credits under his belt.
Canyon’s country music began as a side writing project with his already existing band that has been recording and touring together for over a decade. He spent his entire music career writing in a wide variety of music genres, but it’s the honesty and storytelling part of a country song that drives Canyon’s passion for writing and performing country music full time now.
In the short time that Miles has called Alberta home, this Singer/Songwriter has been creating waves in the Western Canadian country music scene. With his powerful vocal delivery and multi genre approach to songwriting, his music truly stands out and he has quickly developed a reputation as a “must see” performer.
He has showcased events for Country Music Alberta , Saskatchewan Country Music Awards , Canadian Country Music Awards , The Junos , The Canadian Finals Rodeo and The Diamond in the Rough Stage . He was also a Top 10 finalist for a singing competition with the National Music Center of Canada and a Semi Finalist in the Ranchmans Rising Star competition. Miles will be taking the stage this year in Calgary at Country Thunder . 
His latest radio single is song about Willie Nelson called “Roaches and Willie”. It’s a light hearted song about if the end of the world came, there would be nothing left but the cockroaches and Willie Nelson.  A week after recording the demo, the song ended up at Willie’s Studio at the Luck Ranch where the legend himself got to listen to it, and as it turned out he loved the song!
Roaches and Willie also features a guitar solo by Dean Person , a member of the Nelson family circle and session player for Willie Nelson.

After 2 weeks of being out Roaches and Willie has over 55,000 streams and has been added to Sirius XM radio. The radio campaign has just started.
