Kreesha Turner

BIO/DESCRIPTION

Kreesha Turner is a Platinum-selling, chart-topping Canadian-Jamaican artist whose unmistakable voice and fearless genre fusion have earned her critical acclaim and global fans. A five-time JUNO Award nominee and winner of the Canadian Radio Music Award for Best New Solo Artist, she’s best known for her breakout hit “Don’t Call Me Baby,” which was the most-played song on Canadian radio in 2009 and topped the U.S. Billboard Dance Chart.

After a decade away from releasing music, Kreesha returns in 2025 with her most personal project yet—a soul-stirring collection rooted in her first musical love: jazz. Inspired by icons like Billie Holiday and reignited through performances of her previously released track “Black Magic”, Kreesha’s new sound blends pop R&B with jazz vocals, live orchestration, and raw storytelling alongside big-band energy and emotional honesty.

The upcoming tracks, “Monster Behind the Mask” and “Selfish” explore themes of healing, self-worth, and empowerment. With this new chapter, Kreesha is not just releasing songs—she’s reclaiming her voice with unapologetic soul.
