Joni Delaurier

BIO/DESCRIPTION

Joni Delaurier’s first cut, “Pickup Truck”, was featured on country artist Shane Yellowbird’s freshman release, “Life Is Calling My Name” and won her the SOCAN award for Country Music in 2008. Delaurier’s duo, Scarlett Butler, also took home the Songwriter of the Year honours at the 2022 CMAB Awards in Red Deer for their Top 50 Billboard single “Looking For a Lockdown with You”.

Joni continues to write with other Canadian artists, including Tenille Townes, Duane Steele and Mike Plume and has proven herself to be a powerful voice in the Canadian musical landscape.
