Eric Cinnamon


Eric Cinnamon is a producer, mixer and recording engineer from Calgary, AB. As the full-time Audio Engineer at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, Eric has been exposed to a wide influence of artists and genres, facilitating a variety of recording sessions using historical music technology. For the past 7 years, he has had the opportunity to evolve with the organization, learning on the job next to some of Canada’s rising and established music professionals.

In 2021, Eric was asked to capture an NPR Tiny Desk (at home) concert for nine-time GRAMMY nominated group, Northern Cree, performing in the Tsuut’ina Pow Wow arbor just outside of Calgary. More recently, he has received acknowledgment for his involvement with three projects nominated across multiple categories in the 2023 JUNO Awards and was nominated in the Audio Engineering category at the WCMAs that same year.
