Aqeel John – Johnny B’

BIO/DESCRIPTION

Johnny B’ is a Calgary-based singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, musical director, and producer. He holds a Master’s degree in Music and a published thesis archived at the University of Salford in Manchester, England. At Johnny B’ Studios, he records, arranges, and collaborates with a wide range of Calgary artists.

He is the creator of Johnny B’ Live Sessions on YouTube, a live-off-the-floor series showcasing one-take, fully rearranged performances.

Johnny B actively performs in Calgary’s fundraising and charity events, and also works closely with community churches, mentoring choirs for special events. In addition to his studio and performance work, he is a substitute teacher in music, drama, and theatre with the Calgary Board of Education. Always open to collaboration, he thrives on the unique energy each artist brings.
