This session will discuss what an artist should expect from streaming their music and outline the realities of it by discussing how you can get set up, how it works and what can be done to make it easier.

Amy Terrill | Vice President Public Affairs, Music Canada
Amy is Vice President Public Affairs at Music Canada. She joined the organization in August 2010. Amy plays a key role in the development and implementation of Music Canada’s government and stakeholder relations efforts. She is also responsible for developing and implementing Music Canada’s branding, communications and media relations strategies. Amy has been instrumental in Music Canada’s efforts to unite a broad coalition of industry members in Ontario in efforts to promote live performance, music tourism and Toronto as a music city.
Prior to joining Music Canada, Amy worked with the Chamber of Commerce network in Ontario, most recently as Vice President Communications & Marketing at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.
Amy comes from a journalism background with almost nine years in broadcast journalism experience at CHEX Television. She is a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston.
