PotashCorp Country Music Week 2017 will be held in Saskatoon, SK from September 7 – 10. To see a listing of fan events click here. If you’re an artist or a member of the music industry and would like to attend the industry conference, find full conference information and registration details here.
PotashCorp Country Music Week is made up of three components: a music festival, which includes such events as the CCMA Songwriters’ Series, In The Round: Crossing Borders, the CCMA Legends Show: A Tribute to Yesterday & Today, the CCMA Rock’N Country Cabaret, a full-day FanFest where artists engage with their fans, a Countdown Concert prior to the awards show, the John Deere Green Carpet and more; the CCMA Awards Show, which is a two-hour, nationally broadcast television special highlighting a year in country music; as well as an industry conference which allows the Canadian country music industry to honour those working behind the scenes via educational workshops and seminars, networking receptions and showcases, awards ceremonies and more.
IMPORTANT: The deadline to purchase your delegate pass or individual tickets for PotashCorp Country Music Week 2017 is Wednesday, August 23 at 5:00 p.m. ET. Delegate passes WILL NOT be available for purchase onsite in Saskatoon during PotashCorp Country Music Week 2017. Individual event tickets may be purchased onsite in Saskatoon, based on availability.

BreakOut West 2017 will be held in Edmonton, AB, from September 13-17 marking the 15th year of the alliance and the event! The 4-day event will be composed of a 4-day music conference, a 3-night multi-genre music festival, the Western Canadian Music Industry Awards Brunch, the Western Canadian Music Awards Reception, and a NEW event Kick-off Concert. All venues are in close proximity, have easy access, appropriate capacities and existing local live music audience.
BreakOut West is the primary event hosted by the Western Canadian Music Alliance – an organization created by the Music Industry Associations of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories and Yukon Territory – to promote and celebrate western Canadian music. Each year the event is held in a different member region on a rotational basis. The Western Canadian Music Alliance values excellence, boldness, integrity, inclusivity and passion; values that carry us through all of our event vision and work with artists and industry.
About the Music Festival
The BreakOut West Music Festival features a multi-genre line-up of over 50 of western Canada’s best emerging and established artists performing at multiple venues throughout the host city. New in 2017 the music festival will start with a Kick-off Concert. Lineup and tickets coming June 15th. BreakOut West features some of the best untapped talent in western Canada. Support local – discover the next big thing!

From 20 – 23 September 2017, the Reeperbahn Festival will present more than 800 events spanning a range of genres in locations around Hamburg’s Reeperbahn. Since its debut in 2006, the Reeperbahn Festival has grown to become one of the most important meeting places for the music industry worldwide, and, as Europe’s largest club festival, it boasts a broad spectrum of emerging artists.
In addition to some 500 concerts by international artists held in a wide variety of venues, the festival programme includes events in the fields of fine art, film, and literature.
The Reeperbahn Festival conference programme is designed for professionals active in the music and creative digital industries and features sessions, showcases, networking events, or awards ceremonies.
The festival’s partner country in 2017 is Canada. The Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) and their Music Export Canada partners will spotlight the Canadian music scene with showcases and business events. With the kind support of The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings (FACTOR), the Government of Canada, and the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC).
