Drawing from a vast array of influences the band’s music features primal and thrashy riffs, contagious melodies, raw vocals, and a punch you in the face rhythm section. This soulful and heart-driven group of Canadian Saboteurs is fronted by two brothers, Dylan and Steven Evanik. They provide an engaging chemistry between their shared contribution on guitar and vocals that speaks to their close bond as siblings and musicians. The rhythm section, comprised of Aaron Samson (bass) and Luke Carson (drums), serves as the pulse that keeps the ever beating heart of the group alive. Forming in January of 2014, Crooked Spies has been ambitious in its early efforts, quickly gaining momentum within the Calgary music scene. Receiving airplay on a number of local stations and having released their full length debut album “Treason”, Crooked Spies is set to hit the road for a western Canadian Tour early this fall.
