The Kimberlites, from Calgary, Alberta play across Western Canada as a 5 piece Celtic/Zydeco/Cajun/Americana band. The unique and infectious sound of The Kimberlites is carefully crafted around accordion, rub board/percussion, guitar, drums and fretless bass. Sounding like a cross between Great Big Sea, Buckwheat Zydeco and the Barenaked Ladies, the Kimberlites energized performances are action packed. Playing popular cover songs and high energy original material, it’s an experience not soon forgotten. From festivals, pubs and casinos to corporate events and house concerts, the Kimberlites deliver an engaging musical experience for all audiences.
