Like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon into the bright sunlight after time to transform and grow in the darkness, Shine Vira’s debut album emerges and unfurls its wings to soar with sound. As someone who has come through great darkness and trauma in her own life, Shine Vira’s life and music is a message of hope and dancing through pain and so it transcends our struggles. By choosing life when it seemed impossible to continue, and singing her story boldly without hiding, Shine Vira inspires us to live with hope and not let the darkness defeat and silence us, but only transform us and give us wings.
