Shane Leclaire (Godfall)

BIO/DESCRIPTION

A Calgary-based First Nation recording and performing artist whose passion for music ignited at teh age of eight. Whta begam as a young boy’s fascination with sound and rhythm has grown into a focused pursuit of heavy music, eventually leading Shane to his role as lead guitarist and producer with Godfall, one of Calgary’s emerging forces in the modern metal scene.
Over the past two years, Godfall has built a reputation as a relentless and hard-hitting six-piece, drawing influence from acts like Slipknot, Trivium, Lamb of God and Avatar. The band recently released a single Ishkode (means fire in my Indigenous language) and Parasite, and planning to release an LP at the end of 2026. With live performances gaining momentum across Calgary’s metal circut, Godfall is steadily carving out their place in the Canadian heavy music landscape.
Beyond the stage, Shane has used music as a vehicle for community impact, performing at a benefit ocncernt to raise funds for Parkinson’s disease research and support, a reminder that heavy music can carry both weight and heart.
