BIO/DESCRIPTION

sean beaver (stylized in lowercase), an independent techno/electronic Indigenous artist based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and originally from the Driftpile Cree Nation in Treaty 8 territory.
Incorporating his indigenous heritage into the music, with select Pow Wow elements, percussion, and vocal chants added throughout his high energy hybrid performance of live loops and original produced music. Sounding of a cross between Teenage Mutants, The Chemical Brothers, and Richie Hawtin. Sober since 2006. With six albums released to date, plus another two albums set to
release in 2023. Sean was recently nominated for Rap-Hip Hop-Electronica Album of The Year at the 2021 Summer Solstice Indigenous Music Awards and was nominated Best Instrumental Album at the Indigenous Music Awards in 2015, and 2017, and won in 2015.
