Samantha Lee Music

BIO/DESCRIPTION

Samantha Lee is one of Canadian country music’s most exciting emerging voices—known for her powerhouse vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and magnetic stage presence. Blending the classic soul of Patsy Cline and Connie Smith with the bold energy of Carrie Underwood, Samantha delivers both emotional ballads and high-energy anthems that connect across generations.

What began as busking at farmers’ markets in small-town Alberta has taken Samantha to major festival stages and the spotlight of Nashville. In 2023, she won the Voice of BVJ competition and performed for over 10,000 fans at Big Valley Jamboree. The following year, she played iconic venues like the Bluebird Café and Troubadour Theatre, earned “Most Promising Song” at NACMAI in Nashville, performed more than 60 shows across Alberta, and was selected by Country Music Alberta to showcase during CCMA Week.

In March 2025, Samantha received one of her biggest honors yet—an invitation from the legendary Danny Hooper to join his band on stage during his sold-out 50th Anniversary show at the Edmonton Inn & Convention Centre. That unforgettable moment marked another milestone in a year full of momentum. She also continues to grow as a performer through the Global Country Star Search program, which led to a recurring monthly spot at the Bev Munro Seniors Dance at Chateau Nova—sponsored by CFCW—where she jumps in unrehearsed with the house band and plays a live set alongside some of the most seasoned musicians in Alberta.

Her online presence is soaring just as quickly. Since launching her TikTok livestreams in April 2025, she’s skyrocketed from 180 followers to over 3,100 loyal fans and amassed more than 150,000 views in a matter of weeks. Her raw vocal performances and behind-the-scenes content are striking a chord with fans across North America.

In 2025, she hit the ground running—opening for The Dirt Road Angels, headlining Daisy’s Saloon in Edmonton, and performing at top events including Ranchman’s Beerfest Stage (BMO Centre), Beaumont Music Festival, Cold Lake Ag Society’s CPCA Chuckwagon Exhibition, Ponoka Stampede, Take the Stampede Stage at Ranchmans, and Bow Valley Boot Stomp Festival. She also toured with The Best Damn Country Bar Tour, bringing her original music to packed venues across Alberta.

Her standout originals—including the heartfelt ballad “Heaven Gained an Angel”, her debut single “Lifetime”, and her brand-new release “Little Big Words” (Aug 22, 2025)—highlight her depth as a storyteller and undeniable vocal talent. In just a few days since its release, “Little Big Words” has already been added to over 25 playlists and surpassed 45,500 streams on Spotify, cementing Samantha as a rising artist to watch. A multi-award winner and proud Iris Evans Scholarship recipient, Samantha Lee isn’t just knocking on country music’s door—she’s kicking it wide open.
