BIO/DESCRIPTION

Ryan Payne is the drummer/band leader of Travel Delays; an Edmonton based group inspired by the sounds of UK jazz. Their fusion of Hip-Hop and RnB grooves with jazz improvisation is a tribute to the genre’s origins and an embodiment of its evolution. Playing original compositions alongside arrangements of popular Hip-Hop and RnB tunes, they explore new sonic territory while redefining the familiar.
