BIO/DESCRIPTION

Derek started as a part-time sales rep with BMG Music Canada in Nov. 2003. Through his 16 years with Sony Music/Sony BMG/BMG he has been responsible for numerous territories in the country including Southern Ontario, Saskatchewan & Alberta. Currently based in Calgary he oversees radio promotion and media relations in Alberta & Saskatchewan for Sony Music Canada. Utilizing his many years of experience Derek has become a well-respected industry member with vast knowledge of what it takes to break an artist in today’s music business.
