R. Blaire Comrie
His trademark Red Beret and ability to look cool while playing the wrong notes have earned him a place on stage left where the lights aren’t as bright. As a back up vocalist Blaire does his part to fill up the harmonies in the lower vocal range. In 1996 he had his 15 minutes of fame as the winner of Homegrown, a songwriting contest sponsored by local radio station K97, and went on the become one of the 10 finalists in the Canadian National Songwriting Competition, complete with an all expense paid trip to Toronto! Thus proving that talent has nothing to do with success! These days Blaire is focused on songwriting and producing. His latest venture is The Eclectic Banana Project.
