Mickey Hayward

BIO/DESCRIPTION

Born, raised and settled in Lethbridge, AB; Mickey Hayward has been a part of the Lethbridge music community since 2009 as a drummer, collaborator, occasional bassist and reluctant singer/songwriter. His drumming focus is rock & roll, folk, country and rhythm & blues.

“Double kick? …kick rocks!”

Mickey is a member of Lethbridge-based acts Starpainter, Bailey Kate and Cope. He is also a drummer-4-hire performing with Amy Nelson(Calgary, AB), Jon Martin(Edmonton, AB) and Ryland Moranz(Lethbridge, AB).

Performance credits include: Amy Nelson, Atomicos, Bailey Kate, Cope, Jon Martin & Lovers, Mormon Girls, Planet Telex, Politics of Joy, Ryland Moranz, Son of a Baker and Starpainter.

Mickey is a longtime volunteer of CKXU 88.3FM, CKXU Radio Society Treasurer (Term: 2022-2024) and drum instructor.
