Midnite Gossip is an electronic pop project led by Calgary-based singer, songwriter, and producer Nicky Markin, crafting emotionally honest, rhythm-forward music designed for movement and connection. Blending pulsing electronic production, bold yet intimate vocals, and playful sound design, the project draws inspiration from the early–mid 2010s wave of female-led electronic pop, balancing catchy songwriting with space, groove, and emotional clarity.

Known for groove-led, immersive live performances, Midnite Gossip creates sets that feel emotionally present and quietly euphoric. Since launching in 2022, the project has performed extensively across Canada, including headlining Wintersong Music Festival, and appearing at Canadian Music Week, Soundoff Summit, Robson Valley Music Festival, and more, sharing stages with artists such as Felix Cartal, Ruby Waters, Glass Petals, LUN and Bedouin Soundclash.

Midnite Gossip has appeared on CMCTV Talent Season 3, has earned multiple awards and nominations and has received national airplay on CBC, CKUA, CJSW, and X92.9 FM, with their Live EP charting on Canadian electronic radio. With new releases, collaborations, and live shows rolling out in 2026, Midnite Gossip continues to evolve toward deeper, dance-forward electronic pop.
