Baroque-Pop / Chamber-Folk songstress from Mokhinstsis (Calgary, AB). A classically-trained pianist gone rogue, Laura Hickli has recieved worldwide support for her dynamic, emotional and sometimes explosive music. Pre-COVID Hickli was a full-time touring artist who signed her upcoming heavy-hitting album to release through North Pole Records (MT) later this year. While her upcoming record explores her departure from religion, her beloved debut explores themes of mental illnesses and trauma encased in intricate heartfelt production and patient melodies which leave plenty of space for the listener to deeply feel it all along with her.
