International artist singer-songwriter award nominee.
Kim Thompson, singer, songwriter, and artist cowgirl is currently recording for 2023 releasing an album. Roping her latest single, “Dear Dolly”, currently chart #58. 2023 “Bucket List” released hit top 20. “Just Anybody”, hit #1 produced by MCC studios and “Hey Cowboy” charted #2 is another win for Thompson produced by Chris Birkett in Ontario, Canada. Kim’s previous releases, “Heartache Heartbreak” hit #2 on charts, “This Christmas”, and “Thinkin’ Bout“ picked up by Sirius Radio and “Game Of Love”. Nominated for awards in ISSA USA and Europe’s Fairplay Awards for Female Artist, entergtain The Alberta, Canadian native is a trifecta of talent; a singer, songwriter with credits in commercial and film including: Disney, Heartland, Fargo and the Oscar-winning Brokeback Mountain. In addition to her work on screen, Thompson is routinely found on the stage and spun on international country stations. Kim works closely with the CCMA Awards and has been a consideration for nomination, nominated in the Alberta Country Music Association, YCC Awards and looking forward to the upcoming awards for the ISSA. Kim is a recipient of a SOCAN Travel Grant, and continues to be a leader in representing Alberta in the ISSA. Kim performs locally and internationally including events, business, arenas, ranch houses and corporate shows. Thompson is also the vocal prowess behind the anthem while riding at Canadian Pro Rodeo and on the ice at the Alberta Junior Hockey League Games. Singing the anthem while riding a horse is one of her favourite pastimes with commitment to pure country music.
