YYCMusic Awards 2020 Solo Artist of the Year and RnB Artist of the year,Kate Stevens is a vivacious RnB singer/songwriter based in Calgary,Alberta. Her buoyant stage presence, powerful vocal talents and blended genre capture a wide audience. She creates distinctive melodies; meaningful lyrics with her mix of emotive folk & soulful pop.She draws influences from timeless voices such as Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, Carole King and Joni Mitchell.Collaborating with Juno award winning producers and instrumentalists, Stevens has a mature take on her ever growing musical style and technique. Kate is a community builder, collaborator and supporter for youth musicians.
