Julio “Oso” is a Canadian-Colombian A&R, audio engineer, and creative strategist based in Edmonton, Alberta. With more than a decade of experience in the music industry, he has worked with hundreds of artists across hip-hop, reggaeton, Afrobeat, pop, and indie, helping shape records from the earliest idea to the final release.

A Gold-certified mixing engineer, Oso also serves as the A&R and manager for Los Playmakers, where he helps oversee artist collaborations, songwriting sessions, production strategy, release planning, and industry partnerships. His passion lies in developing artists, connecting creatives, and helping great records move from concept to commercial release.

Working between Canada and Colombia, his focus is simple: develop great records, build meaningful relationships, and help artists create careers that last.
