BIO/DESCRIPTION

Janelle is an in-­‐demand studio vocalist and can be heard singing back-­‐ups for many Edmonton, Calgary, and Montreal-­‐based musicians. She performs with several bands including a HipHop group, an acoustic duo, a jazz trio, a corporate party band, and as a solo artist.
Janelle is also a singer/songwriter who loves exploring a variety of styles, including R&B, HipHop, Gospel, Soul and Jazz. Her voice has been described as a smooth, buttery, warm, soul-­filled sound with the ability to be a vocal chameleon by transforming tone and technique to deliver various tonal qualities, musical styles, and emotions.
