Idle Garden is a modern Brit-Rock band based in Calgary, Canada. Fronted by Scotland-born Darren McDade, the band cultivates a unique sonic landscape, blending powerful vocals, soul-infused melodies, driving rhythms, and rich vocal harmonies. The band unites musicians from diverse backgrounds across Canada and Europe (Scotland, Romania, Ukraine), each with a wealth of experience from prior musical ventures. In the summer of 2023, they unveiled their debut self-titled album, recorded at Studio Bell in Calgary, AB, Canada. Their live show seamlessly weaves together moments that are both delicate and heavy.
