BIO/DESCRIPTION

HIMALAYA is a 22-year-old Filipina Canadian artist based in Edmonton, Alberta.


In 2015, she migrated to Canada along with her family. Singing is her ultimate passion and in 2018, she discovered that songwriting opened up a lot of opportunities to express a variety of ideas, self-discovery and overcome challenges in her life. She first fell in love with journaling and later on realized how she could turn those notes into music— from “Pain” to “Power”. In that way, people related more to her music and to her stories.


Her repertoire consists of a variety of OPM, Pop, Country, Folk, Hip-hop, Rap, and RNB. From Family & Friends gatherings, Playing and Performing at Festivals, Local events, Major Filipino Concerts, Private parties & Restaurants, Busking in the streets of Edmonton, Toronto and Vancouver helped her quickly rise to prominence within the community.
