Halcyon Gray

Halcyon Gray is a pop/dance artist from St. Albert, Alberta.
In 2021, Halcyon released her first EP working in collaboration with Vancouver based producer Ryan Stewart; this EP is both fun while being vulnerable, a bit like when you are at a party and after the peak hour, you find yourself in the backyard on a rope swing pouring your heart out to a stranger.

Driving from talent show to community event seemed to be a weekend routine for Halcyon, and her parents from the age of 6-17. “There is something special about performing at community events; I would always get little kids dancing down in the front, and it would remind me of how music can bring us together.” says Gray. She cites her influences as Britney Spears, Gryffin, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Jojo Levesque.

In 2021, Halcyon received the Juried Sound Recording grant from FACTOR Canada. Since the initial release of her EP, Halcyon has been fortunate to collaborate with Canadian artist, DJ, and producer Tep No. ‘Built to Break (The Tep No Edit)’ reached 20k streams in the first twenty-four hours and is currently around 97k, and climbing!
Gray has garnered radio play on NOW! Radio in Edmonton for her single ‘Feels Right’ since its release in mid 2022.
Halcyon has also performed at festivals such as the Juno Fest Kickoff, Together Again concert series, and Taste of Edmonton.
