Giselle Parker

BIO/DESCRIPTION

Giselle Parker is a songwriter and performer from Edmonton, Alberta. She has been active as a solo artist and is a founding member of Edmonton acts, Cantoo and the Lilith Fair Revival Band. In 2019, Parker released her first EP, Old Flame. Her sound has been described as “marrying classic melodies with melancholy lyrics” (Tom Murray, Edmonton Journal). Drawing inspiration from the nostalgic strains of Camera Obscura and Karen Carpenter, Giselle Parker’s sophomore release Vine explores finding/leaving community, loss as growth, and improving with age.
