Eric Yaremko

BIO/DESCRIPTION

Eric Yaremko is a Ukrainian-Canadian artist from Edmonton. Eric’s primary instrument is piano, having studied classical music since the age of 8 through the Royal Conservatory of Music. He attended MacEwan University for music in 2011, and has been actively performing in Edmonton since 2016 as a singer, songwriter, session musician, accompanist and bandmate.

Eric has collaborated with other Edmonton artists such as Tayler Grace, Marissa K, Jed & the Valentine, Mint Club, Gareth Gilliand, Kip Lily, Francesco Rizzuto, Conrad Sobieraj, Regina Espina, Nick Lange, and Megan Lange among many others. Eric contributed lyrics, vocals and piano to Tayler Grace’s debut EP “Let You Go,” piano on Mint Club’s album “Slice of Life,” and was a backing musician for artists of the School of Song at Edmonton’s 2025 Folk Music Festival.

Although initially known for creative covers of other artists’ work including songs in the Ukrainian language, Eric’s original music is often described as etheral and emotionally engaging, with a powerful falsetto that he uses to deliver poetic lyrics and thoughtful melodies that function as metaphors for deeply felt experiences.
