ELIO ALCINDOR BIOGRAPHY

Multiple award-winner, Christian singer, songwriter, Canadian of Haitian origin, Elio Alcindor is a multilingual artist, who has recorded his songs in several languages including Spanish, French, Creole & English. His first album “USAME SEÑOR” in Spanish, was released in July 2014, of which earned him multiple award nominations. After many years dealing with this hardship regarding the death of his wife, he pulled himself of it through music with the release of “Glorifícate” in 2018 of which earned him an award and multiple nominations. In 2020, he released his very well-received single “Hosanna” of which, once again, earned him an award as Best Latin Gospel Artist of the Year with Latin Awards Canada and multiple nominations with several academies. He then released “Vamos a Celebrar” in 2021, (10 nominations in several countries including USA, Canada, and many others in Latin America. In March 2022 and beginning 2023, Elio released “Haz lo que quieras” & Poderoso” and “Mi Vida Tuya Es”.
So Powerful featuring Kristal Chalmers (English version of Poderoso), Praise the Lord featuring Jennifer Lewin (English version of Alaba a Dios) released in several languages, are few of the latest releases from Elio. Elio has been the winner of multiple awards including Voice of Gospel Music Awards (VOGMA), Alabama – USA, Monster Music Awards, Latin Awards Canada, Premios El Galardon and recently nominated for GMA Canada/Covenant Award.
