Edwardson

BIO/DESCRIPTION

Edwardson is an award-winning, Canadian alternative pop artist based in Calgary.

Their newest single, “Blame”, comes out September 27th. Already a live fan favorite, the song explores the heartbreak of a hard-to-leave relationship. With nostalgic synths, big drums, and striking male pop vocals, it’s set to capture ears with its juxtaposition of hopeless lyrics and danceable music.

“Blame is a song about something pretty much everyone has gone through, a relationship that you know isn’t going anywhere, but neither of you know how to say goodbye. It’s a different vibe and I can’t wait for you to hear it.”

Edwardson’s breakthrough as an artist began in 2022 with the release of their debut single, “Springtime”. After a year of consistent fan engagement and live shows, Edwardson’s debut EP “Twenty Something” was released in September 2023. Including tracks like “Get Home”, “Oh Love!”, and an updated version of Springtime, the EP gained specific traction in the indie pop scene in Calgary and Canada.

The EP was followed by a short promotional tour, featuring artists like Calgary based Fin McDowell, Tawni Bias, and Sunset Sabotage, as well as Victoria, BC based band Alcoves.

Edwardson was awarded Emerging Artist of the year award at the 2024 YYC Music Awards in Calgary, AB, and has big plans for new music for the remainder of 2024 and through 2025.

“This is a new era for me, for Edwardson. Can’t wait to have you along for the ride.”
