Cartel Madras is a local Calgary hiphop duo trying to disrupt both a city and an industry. Hailing from South India, Contra P are Eboshi are rappers looking to explore and establish varying narratives for coloured woman. Sexuality, identity, freedom, race, color and gender are the most prominent themes they explore in their music. Their sound fuses the rap stylings of the South, trap and a strong female voice to bring the party.
