BIO/DESCRIPTION

Cara is an Edmonton-based singer praised for her “enviable clarity of tone” (Opera Canada). Her musical and artistic journey has taken her down a variety of winding and rewarding paths including singing in the Canadian Finals Rodeo singing competition in the 90’s, to performing the role of Countess in The Marriage of Figaro in Rome, Italy in 2009. Alberta audiences may know her from her work with Edmonton Opera, or her most recent concert series Music in the Air, that she co-created and performed in during the Covid19 pandemic in 2021. She continues to reinvent herself as her life moves forward.
Cara’s first two singles reflects a deep and profound life-changing experience, the beginning and ending of a love story. Stay tuned…Cara is looking forward to collaborating with a variety of artists and writers to complete her first album while crossing genres and telling many more musical stories in recordings and on stages of all kinds.
