2017 Edmonton Music Awards “People’s Choice” Award Nominee, Of Candor is an emerging pop/folk artist in the Western Canadian music scene. It is in her introspective lyrics that the listener will find candid honesty and acceptance of the path it takes to create growth. This is what led Woods to create a new moniker for her musical endeavours – “Of Candor”. With this rebrand, Of Candor is focused on embracing an edgier sound with more electric guitar and bolder lyrical content. To date, Brooke has shared the stage with such talented acts as Ella Coyes, Madi Allen, Ego the Jackal, Marty Pawlina and Emily Guthrie and the Wildflowers at local venues such as the Almanac and On the Rocks. Woods has also been featured on local TV through Shaw TV’s, “Edmonton Unplugged.”
