Black Crow Funk

BIO/DESCRIPTION

Black Crow Funk is the project of Métis Canadian singer/songwriter Jody Funk, originally from Manitoba’s Duck Mountains and now based in Alberta. Her music lives somewhere between prairie folk, country, and noir, where old songs, ghost stories, and ancestral memory unfold against wide open landscapes.

Created and fronted by Jody, Black Crow Funk is evolving alongside singer, songwriter, guitarist, and co producer Scott Baird. Together, they craft haunting, atmospheric songs where the past is never quite buried and every shadow has a story.

Their debut album, Boiling Bones, is coming soon.
