Bad Bad Joel has come out of hiding to do what he should have been doing all along.

After dabbling in EDM production as a teenager, Joel quit in frustration.

Despite spending time as a DJ, dance music radio programmer, and becoming a professional audio engineer at 20, Joel never returned to creating music.

Until 2025.

In the year of his first releases, Bad Bad Joel surpassed 10,000 streams and has since earned international and Canadian radio airplay including on Afterhours.FM and CBC Radio. His song ‘Circles’ was also given a winning title in the International Songwriting Competition.

Inspired by Above & Beyond, Avicii, and Chris Lake, his sound blends heartfelt vocals with euphoric drops and a nostalgic yet modern edge.
