BreakOut West Showcase at AmericanaFest 2019

deadline : June 21, 2019 4:00 pm

Event Date: September 10-15, 2019

We invite submissions from all Alberta Music members working in the Americana and related Roots genres who would be interested in performing at the following unofficial and official showcase opportunities at AmericanaFest:

Alberta Music at the Americana Music Conference and Festival
Nashville TN, September 10-15, 2019
September 10: BOW Songwriting Session/Private Industry Dinner (Unofficial Showcase, 2 x AB Artists In-the-Round)
September 12: BOW BBQ (Official AmericanaFest Sponsored Showcase, 1 x AB Artist)

We will be co-presenting a private dinner showcase and an official showcase as add-ons to the annual Americana Music Conference and Festival, in order to connect participating artists directly with Nashville-based music publishers, agents, promoters, songwriters, and other industry professionals. These events are presented through a partnership between Manitoba Music, Alberta Music and SaskMusic. This is our seventh annual presentation in the Nashville market. Artists will be selected via a jury process and be invited to perform.

We are looking specifically for artists from Americana/roots and related sub-genres. Please refer to past AmericanaFest lineups or contact us for more information on genres that are successfully presented at this event.

Travel, accommodation and delegate passes for the selected artist is the artist’s responsibility. However, there is funding assistance that can be applied for through various funding bodies, please ask if you need guidance.
