Alberta Focus 2021

The Alberta Focus showcase puts Alberta’s finest, export-ready artists in front of international music industry professionals from the US, Australia, Germany, and markets across the UK. This showcase is an excellent opportunity for Alberta Music members to build on their networks here at home and also with the international community.
Eight (8) export ready artists will be selected to participate in a virtual pre-recorded showcase and eight (8) virtual live one-on-one meetings with selected international delegates.
Submissions will be evaluated by an external jury based on:
Creative submission
Export readiness and plan
Rationale for attending the showcase
Previous export experience / history
Artists must be available early March to film the showcase component and March 22, 23, 24 and 25, 2021 to attend meetings and networking events. Showcase filming and editing costs will be covered by Alberta Music.
Export-ready artists of all genres from across Alberta are encouraged to apply. You must be a current Alberta Music member.
