Janis Richards of JRich Business Services Inc. will be on hand to help you understand how to set up your business, what paper work is important, how to account for your inventory and being aware of important deadlines. She will answer a number of common questions; What can I write off? When should I incorporate? When are the band members employees? Are grants considered taxable income? When do I register for GST and why? What tax myths should I be aware of?
Janis Richards has 33 years of audit experience with Canada Revenue Agency; 13 years operating a full service entertainment company and is also a shareholder/ manager of a family lumber business. She has the experience to assist you in managing your finances for a better bottom line and understanding taxes as they affect your profession.
