It's that time of year again! Alberta Music is off to Canadian Music Week in Toronto, Ontario from May 2 - 8 with showcases galore and, as always, loads of artists representing Alberta on their own! The 34th CMW features 1,000 showcasing bands at more than 60 live music venues in downtown Toronto.
Alberta Music is proud to partner with SaskMusic on our official showcase "How The West Was Won." A showcase of some of the best artists in western Canada featuring such artists as: Poor Nameless Boy, The Royal Foundry, Surf Dads, The Wisers, We Were Lovers, Boreal Sons, and DGS Samurai Champs.

A showcase of some of the best artists in western Canada, presented in partnership with our neighbours to the east, SaskMusic. How The West Was Won has been established as an internationally recognized brand of Western Canada music over the past several years through several showcase presentations. Alberta artists The Royal Foundry (9pm), The Wisers (11pm), and Boreal Sons (1am), along with Saskatchewan's Poor Nameless Boy (8pm), Surf Dads (10pm), We Were Lovers (12am), and DGS Samurai Champs (2am) will perform at The Hideout (484 Queen Street West).
**Please Note: The Velveteins are no longer a part of this showcase as they are unable to attend CMW due to unforeseen circumstances**
