The Lilac Fest is a popular one-day street festival that covers 13 blocks of inner city Calgary and is free to attend. An annual celebration of community spirit and artistic vitality, Lilac Fest hosts over 40 musical performances on 6 stages from a number of different backgrounds and styles, focusing on emerging or independent talent. The festival also hosts 400 vendors that vary from artisan crafts to imported wares and more. This will be the non-profit festival's 27th anniversary.
